Giovanni Rosso to bike on the road of social sustainability

From London to Epernay to support Motor Neuron Disease (MDN) charity.

The 325-mile charity ride organized by Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd ended with great success.

The 36-strong team of colleagues and producers, including Daniele Dellanoce, Giovanni Rosso's export manager, was led over four days by passionate cyclist and senior buyer for the Champagne and Italy at Berry Bros. & Rudd, Davy Żyw, who was diagnosed with MND in 2018, along with Lizzy Rudd, chair of the wine and spirits merchant. The journey, started from the merchant’s London home at No.3 St. James Street and finished in Epernay, Champagne, with the aim of raising £1,000 per mile for the charity My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, ended beyond expectations.

We are grateful to our partner for having inspired us to get involved in the fight against MND and remind that it is still possible to donate for supporting people diagnosed with this disease until 31.12.2023 by visiting the following link of the Foundation https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/bbr325
